Little Things that Matter
They say that material things don't matter and that they have no meaning. It occurs to me that there are those little things that matter, for practical purposes or for those meaningful things they represent to ourselves and to others. Here's a nod to the little things that matter. I failed to capture some special moment today, so I looked around my room of all places for something I could find meaning in. I came across this little bowl I have that houses a few little things I carry with me on a daily basis. My glasses are of course a necessity. Among the other items in the bowl that travel with me were 4 bracelets representing 3 causes that matter to me and two rings, one of which I wear as my own personal symbol and reminder of purity and the other which I wear for the sake of so-called balance (you'd have to know me to really understand that one). Consider those little things that seem trivial to others and hold significance for you. Although the items are technically replaceable, would you not be a bit disheartened to lose one? P.S.
